The Commission of The Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles is made up of a group of people from this region who, voluntarily and in a noble exercise of active citizenship, spare no effort in raising funds for the conservation and maintenance of this heritage. With their stall, they participate in various festivals and fairs that take place throughout the year in the region, where they sell good bread, baked on the spot, and delicious cakes; always with a happy smile on their faces.
Every year, on the penultimate Sunday of August, they also organise a large lunch, where hundreds of people gather in front of the Shrine for an enjoyable moment of conviviality, after which a Mass is celebrated and a procession takes place along the paths around the building. Anyone who has participated in this event usually returns the following year...
It is thanks to this group of volunteers that we can have the privilege of visiting this place and seeing it preserved in the exemplary way as it is today, something that contrasts with so many other precious heritage sites around the country that are not properly cared for. A great and good example for the new generations. Thank You!
